Background
I have been the Professional at Hale Golf Club since 2009 and have over 20 years experience as a PGA Professional since winning the PGA Trainee of the Year Award in 1999. Prior to joining Hale I worked at Royal Lytham St Anne's GC and Royal Birkdale GC.
I am keen to keep learning and so regularly attend coaching seminars given by some of golf's biggest names, such as David Leadbetter and Butch Harmon. I am proud to be one of a small group of PGA Professionals to have achieved the status of Advanced Professional.
Lessons
I really enjoy coaching and feel that my main job is to help pupils gain an awareness of where their swings are right now before guiding them towards making improvements. I like to keep things simple using clear demonstrations and straightforward practice drills. I also use Trackman which is housed in an indoor coaching room located next to the Pro Shop.
I coach men, ladies and juniors ranging from complete novices to expert players and work with members and non-members of the club on all aspects of the game, including on-course tuition.

The Pro Shop
The shop is open Mondays to Saturdays and some Sundays. The Pro shop stocks top brands such as Ping, Callaway, Foot-Joy, Titleist, Powakaddy, Motocaddy, Glenmuir and Pro Quip.

I also have my own website and an affiliated website where you can pick up a vast array of golfing goods, which can be delivered straight to your door or to the Pro Shop and then collected when convenient.
